In Mechanical Engineering, an understanding of advanced computer software is required। Software such as AutoCAD, Exel, and all other mechanical CAD programs। I am taking classes right now on Exel and have already completed the CAD course.
In preparing for my field, I also need to know how translate data from paper to the computer. Each program also requires the ability to completely understand script and its uses in reformatting onto different programs.
