core 1: part 1

Most consider themselves to be technologically savvy because of the phone they have or the computer they use, but I can only consider myself savvy if I understand how my phone works and how my computer software is used. I would say I have a very good understanding of computer applications and uses. I cannot say -if handed a bunch of tools and some silicon based components- I can create an electronic switch board, but I can say if I was told to create a website or apply physics in computer programs that it would not be all too challenging for me. However, I still would like to learn more. I have just started learning basic functions of AutoCAD and other computer aiding design software, and I would like to move further into the "behind the scenes" funcions of computers and begin to tinker with hardware devices.
